Comares. Church Of Our Lady Of The Incarnation. Easter 2015. After Lent and Palm Sunday, 29th March 2015, Christians commemorate the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. It is a period of intense liturgical activity, where the Eucharist is celebrated on Holy Thursday, the Crucifixion of Jesus on Good Friday and his Resurrection at Easter vigil during the night of Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday is commemorated. As in previous years the program of activities in Comares starts on Palm Sunday (29-03-2015) at 11am with the Blessing of Olivo in the Plaza de la Axarquia Balcony and subsequent procession to the Church where the Mass will be held. On Holy Thursday (02-04-2015) at 6pm, an Evening Mass of the Lord's Supper and at 8:30 Holy Hour at the monument; at 10pm the procession of Our Lady of Sorrows and the Nazarene through the streets of Comares. Good Friday (03-04-2015) at 6pm, Liturgical celebration of the Lord's death (Holy Office). And finally Easter Sunday (05-04-2015) at 11am, the Solemn Mass of Resurrection of the Lord.
